Good Morning - I have rentals and hang out on landlord websites. A landlord was complaining about his tenant running a " flood car flipping business " out of his rental. The tenant is getting flood cars from Texas and removing the seats to dry. Apparently, the back yard of the rental is full of car seats. The tenant is making minimal repairs and selling the cars. Not sure if he can "wash" the title or somehow evade a Carfax report. The landlord was PO because the lease prohibits running a business out of the rental, and the tenant is spilling a lot of oil in the driveway. I assume the oil is changed to dump any water in the crankcase. I posted this as a warning for anyone buying a late model used car.
