FleetGuard question

I bought FleetGuard LF3313. I checked the cross reference of Baldwin B2-HPG to the fleetguard oil filter. I found I think i got mistake # for my 96 Cherokee 4x4 4.0L 6 cylinders.

Will FleetGuard LF3313 fit on my Cherokee 6cyl oil filter?

Please let me know asap and i will return the oil filter. I will get correct FleetGuard # oil filter tomorrow. What the FleetGuard # cross reference of FL-1A or Mobil 1 M-301. Thanks!

It should fit, it has the correct 3/4X16 threads. But it is the old paper media. The stratopore media is lf3487.

fasty, regardless if it is the new media or not, take a good look inside one of those Fleetguard oil filters. Those things look built. There are impressive looking adbv and bypass valves, and a lot of holes in the central (metal) column for good oil flow. My Feeltguard oil filters cost me about $5.50, and compared to some oil filters I have tried, they look like M1 tanks in comparison. And my car ran better with the Fleetguard.

Agree that fleetguard makes a very good filter.

Mystic , how can an oil filter make your car run better ..... unless it is an Amsoil filter....

I finally got correct LF3487 oil filter. I can see difference between LF3313 and LF3487. The LF3313 had tan/gold paper media and the LF3487 clearly full white paper media.

Your welcome, but that's not paper in the lf3487. New synthetic media blown on a screen, then made into an oil filter. Wanted that to sound like "this is not your father's oldsmobile."

Steve S, with the Fleetguard oil filter, the car seems to run better at cold startup, and also seems to just run better in general. I think the Fleetguard maybe allows better oil flow.
