Had this running for about 5K miles in my 2011 Yaris. Like some of the older gen small displacement Toyota engines had a blessing to fit some of the larger YZZD3 filter due to wide filter base and clearance. This is the first run of a high efficiency filter that's particularly exclusive to the heavy duty segment just as with the Donaldson P551132, but also crosses to a PH3614 application according to FRAM in the past (RIP website). Given the opportunity to fit it without issues for the driven distance, turns out to be very well made and robust.
I had this sitting in the garage wicking for about 2 - 3 weeks with many paper towels consumed. The media itself is very soft, slightly fuzzy on the outside and very fabric like in feel, almost like polyester, you can see the ultrasonic spot welds and generous amount of pleating compared to your typical automotive retail synthetic filters which generally have less. In contrast to the FRAM FS3600 and Donaldson synthetic media had a rough texture feel to it.
The oil in was not drained, currently on HPL SuperCar 5W-40. Where as the last oil drained was HPL HDEO 5W-40. The Supercar oil left some collected sediment at the bottom of the can where as the HDEO in the can of the former FRAM FS3600 with a large magnet array filtration mod was virtually deposit free, showing absolutely no varnish buildup. So this is an interesting observation here to see some deposit buildup collected.
The oil was not drained and only topped off with the Donaldson P551132 with 8 N42SH disc magnets swapped in for the next 5K mile stretch.

Oil filter change, out Fleetguard LF16011. In goes Donaldson P551132 with 8 N42SH magnets on the baseplate, and topped off with half quart of HPL Supercar 5W40.
