Did that. The original problem is all fixed and has multiple layers of undercoating on it.
New problem: the interior. The airbag light is on. Disconnected the battery, pulled the airbag fuse, and attacked the airbag module that was in the flood zone when the back seat filled with water.
Top looks pristine. The bottom reveals a mess of corrosion that has jumpered connections and corroded parts on the bottom of the circuit board. So one new airbag module, check!
And found yet another rust hole. This one can't be fixed like the last. Just going to coat it with undercoating and forget about it until the summer.
