Also, the Altima 2.5 only take 4 7/8 qts of oil. A US spec Charger V6 take 6 qts and the V8 takes 7 qts. Easy to see why it takes your oil so long to warm up given where you live and the sump size.
So 13+ miles is way more then enough time for the Altima oil to reach operating temp here in the big swamp.

To the OP: If I was you, I would use Mobil 1 Extended Performance or Royal Purple with a Fram Ultra for your 1 year/10K-11K mile oil change. Extended Performance is just a few dollars more than regular Mobil 1. A few dollars for more piece of mind on a really long oil change? Worth it.
M1 and pp are equal in my eyes and we've seen many used oil analysis where pp still had life left after 10000 miles.
However m1 is guaranteed for 10000 miles. We've seen used oil analysis here where m1 was used for in excess of 15000 miles and still had life left so the reality is both products are capable of 10000 mile drains

Being in Phoenix I think about the short trip question fairly often, I'm not sure that really exists in areas like mine, or FL, TX, etc, especially if the car is garaged. In the summer my cold start is approx 90 degrees, in the winter it's probably 65. I don't have an oil temp gauge on my RAV4 but at morning startup my coolant is up to temp within a half mile, so I wouldn't be surprised if by oil was up to temp within a mile, esp if I hit a light or 2. Once up to temp, I can park for a couple hours and come back and the engine is still almost at full op temp according to the gauge.
So anyway, it doesn't seem it would take much to boil off any fuel or water. Maybe I'm wrong about how much longer it takes to get oil temp vs water temp.

Total drive was 4.5 miles, 5.5 if I take my son to school.

I was thinking along similar lines. In Florida the engine will get up to temperature faster than it would in a Canadian Winter. I think you can go for a one year OCI in Florida with the Ultra.
