First oil filter you bought?

First car was a 65 Corvair Monza. Was able to get AC Delco filters at the corner gas station for it. Back then you could get an oil change for the cost of oil and filter alone (no labor charge). Most Sears, Wards, and Penney's had auto service facilities back then. They were also the cheapest places to buy oil and filters for do it your selfers but you really didn't save any money doing so.

Your car brought the rath of Ralph Nader (the swing rear axles) although you really had to go out of your way to make it fold. 65-69's was Chevy's reply to Nader ( new independent rear suspension). I got mine in 67 and wish I had it back....this is why.....https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/threads/a-personal-auto-ownership-history-story-to-share.393772/#post-7258762

Good morning folks. I remember I was 15 and I bought a wix filter for my Pontiac sunbird. Bought dad a wix for his 92’ Dakota too. At a small mom and pop auto parts store. Do you remember the first oil filter you bought?
Lee filter approx. 1972 @ Howard Bros.
