First oil filter you bought?

Remember using a Lee on my MGB in 1980.
Prior to that IIRC my Vega got K-Mart's house brand, which they called Motorvator, I think.
Used lots of Frams in lots of cars over the years as well as Puros and the occasional AC.

I bought an M1-212 and 6 quarts of Mobil1 5W-20 for a 2013 Ford Explorer Base with the 3.5L V6 NA FWD. I did my first oil change at the age of 23. I was a bit late to the DIY game. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

I was a teen working at the Pep Boys parts counter (I remember all the parts books!!) and used Purolator filters then figured out the Pep Boys filter was a rebadged Purolater and started using them for like $1 less lol. I will say I never used a Fram orange can!

I was 16 and saved that summer for a 1981 Chevy Luv pickup. First oil filter I bought was a FRAM Orange Can of death and some Pennzoil. That's what my Dad aways used, so that's what I used. Truck ran great. Sold it after College when I went in the Navy.

I was probably in middle school and would have been a FRAM. Likely bought it when I was getting the Rocky's Theme "Gonna Fly Now" on a 45.

I got my grandmothers '79 Malibu on my 16th birthday, 2001. It got Mobil1 10w30 synthetic and a Fram OCD within the first week.
