Anybody familiar with this grease? It’s made by DuPont and is a PFPAE- some say it’s a version of krytox? I used to use it on nice bike hubs that saw good maintenance to reduce rolling friction and it was great. Now I’m not sure what I’d use it on as all my bike needs would focus on long term durability and reducing PM needs. Thought it would be good on some titanium applications and maybe it actually is… but the threads don’t feel any smoother.

I’ve seen it at many LBS - but the mechanics there use Park Polylube or DuMonde grease. I’d wager it’s marketed for ceramic bearings used in high-end wheel sets and bottom brackets.

It’s also the only grease S&S machine recommends for their frame coupler.

TBH, I find Finish Line to be a whole big pile of meh. I use DuMonde chain lube, and a calcium sulfonate/complex based grease(Red Line CV-2 or WD-40 Specialist), bike bearings don’t get hot enough to activate ZDDP found in lithium complex grease.

This is the S&S page referred to sandsmachine
Their application is for extreme pressure with stainless where galling is a risk (which actually is the case in chain pins, but good luck getting where it is needed).
The list is well done.
