Here's a pic of the truck in question, exact mileage was 266,100Km; 165,347 miles. As you can see, the body is immaculate (Rust Check works) and so my mechanic buddy may be buying it as a project.

If it wasn't for the old style fog lights, you can't tell that Ram from a 2020 classic! Super clean.

Well worth a new or good used engine if someone can get the truck cheap enough.

Have a 2012 Ram 1500 Hemi 5.7. Just had the first major repair. The transmission took a dump at 340k miles. We have a lifetime warranty so we got a brand new factory reman free of charge. Great truck, can't say I have ever had better.

Must be some warranty. 99% of them will install a used or 3rd party rebuilt unit.

The warranty is from Ram. They offered a lifetime power train warranty for awhile.
