I have 2007 Ford Edge. The book calls for a Motorcraft Fl400-sb-12. I have never heard of this filter. I can not find it on the Ford web sight. Does anyone have info on this filter? I use Napa gold 1516 and Napa pro select 21516 filters but would like to know about oem filter.

I know about the 400s but this filter is a 400-sb-12
it is the FL-400S. the SB12 number is the number for the FL-400S thats sold as bulk for backshop use.

Is that the 3.5 V-6 Duratec? If so, it's a FL400S.
Or a FL2005, if you can find any - I heard it's been discontinued.
Or a WIX 51315 or 51516.

FL-2005 is obsolete and replaced by the FL-400S.
