Felicity Ace Lawsuit against Porsche gets tossed

"The vessel burned for about one week"

They blame each other & it may have been the electric car but Porsche claimed they let the fire spread due to their firefighting procedure or equipment. What a mess.

You'd think a ship transporting 100's of millions in cars would have at least a few cameras in the cargo holds. Possibly even uploading via satellite to preserve the footage.

If they caught a video of smoke coming out of a Taycan, they'd have a case. I'd wager a shipwide camera installation would be $50k. I pulled that number of thin air, considering the length of the cable runs and maybe maritime grade cameras. Could be more, even $200k is worthwhile IMHO.

Wonder if the insurance will drop them now after that payout? 😜
I'd also wonder if the ship had enough insurance coverage for all of those expensive automobiles.
