fedex doesn't deliver my packages on time

Solution is not to use FED EX and let them know why. I had same issues with our FED EX ground delivery guy. He would put attempt to deliver notices and say no signer available. When I reminded FED EX customer service that the delivery point is a police dept and there is, at min, a desk sergeant present 24/7 they replaced the driver. The replacement is solid and we get our packages when they say they will be there.

Now I know where to take the two packages I have to send, and help out the underpaid Fedex guy. Thanks!

I've had a number of packages shipped to me recently, using UPS, FedEx and USPS. Overall, no problems. One FedEx shipment was scheduled for January 6, and that was the the day we were walloped with snow and the first round of the Polar Vortex. The package arrived the next day and given the circumstances, not unreasonable. I prefer USPS and FedEx since they both have locations close enough to my house that I can stop by after work pick up anything that requires a signature and for which I wasn't home at delivery time. The UPS depot is a 60+ mile round trip, and they're not open weekends.

Is the filter coming fedex ground or fedex home delivery? Fedex home delivery operates tuesday - saturday, so the filter could still get delivered today.

Fill in the blank with any shipper's name, and it will be a true statement.

It seems to me that we are seeing a period in time where we are being slowly prepared to expect less service and quality for everything, but still pay more for it. Especially the Post Office.

I have a Post Office that implemented the postage increase last month ahead of time, and they don't care who you complain to about it. I had the Postmaster admitted to me IN WRITING that the increase was implemented early.

He doesn't care, and he knows that there are no consequences for this.

I have had the exact opposite experience many of you have had regarding the USPS. I seem to always receive anything shipped to me via USPS, regardless of where it is coming from or the "speed" of shipment chosen, within 2-3 days, and they are the cheapest. UPS has taken 5 days to get something from Oregon to CA, and almost that long to get something to me from within the same state.

I can't really comment on FedEx, as I have almost never had anything shipped to me using them, and have never shipped anything using them because they are always the most expensive.
