Federated auto filter efficiency.

Does anyone know the efficiency of the federated auto parts filter made by hasting/Baldwin?

I am thinking of going with a better filter for my traverse since it appears to be hard on filters. I have a couple of these and so lme wix jobbers that I might get rid of if the efficiency isn't that great. I am going to start running till the olm says to change instead of just changing every 5k.

And yes I know that I could use a fram ultra but I have a bunch of filters to use first.

The Federated filter is the equivalent of Hastings' Casite filter. It isn't as good as the Hastings or Baldwin. I cut one open and could feel a difference in the media.

The Casite information on the Hastings web site does not list filter efficiencies. Try finding your Hastings filter on www.zorotools.com.

I couldn't find an English translation for that last sentence. What is the issue or question?

No, they are not inferior to Wix jobbers; about the same. If that was the question?

It was supposed to say some instead of so lme. Auto correct and fat fingers make a mess on smart phones.

I kinda figgured they were similar to the wix jobbers. I can't really find a normal efficiency rating for the regular Hastings filter either that can be compared to anything else.

I think I need to stick with better filters on this car for all of the issues that can happen. I got a couple of carquest blue wixs then I am left with only jobbers.

Email them they are different for most filters they make they will reply the same day usually
