well you guys could all join me, next Saturday my gal and I are heading to the Dominican Republic! She has a conference there, I have many mixed feelings about us going, earth quakes, restless natives, not to mention the thought of being in luxury while so many are suffering near by.
I hope they cancel the conference and leave the air space open to planes bring in supplies

Ahhh.... it sucks outside, I'm off work sick as a dog but the sound of that furnace firing up is a beautiful sound. Enjoy what I can right now I guess...things would be a world worse if I wasn't hearing that sound....

I guess I could do that, then I would have frozen suds every where.
Darn, just realized I made it to 9000 post after almost 8-years.
Well I don't mean to bragg, I took the big boat 40 miles offshore today and caught some nice fish. It was 62 out near the stream. Tomorrow it will get up to 74 gonna try my luck again.
Johnny- you need to move back to Texas and get out of that mess. Or come down here and I'll take you fishing. It's really nice drinking cold beer on the boat in January!

First I have to go to Eastern PA to drive a Mini and some beers that was offered this morning, then I could come down to NC for fish and beer. That would be a good way to spend February.

It's grey here today, but yesterday was sunny and beautiful with temps in the low 70s.
Same here, we really have no winter just about 15 days of cool weather
We got Chicago weather here this year. Blech. Highs in the lower 30's is nothing to be proud of down here in TN. We might even see snow tomorrow sometime. Might. Hope we don't.
I sure hope that weather block in north Atlantic gives up soon, don't need this cold weather in March.
