Off a friends 2024 Crosstrek. First oil change at 1000 miles. No idea what he put in and on. Very high quality filter IMO. Only gripe would be I prefer a coil spring. Filter reeked of gas.

Yes. DI Subaru’s must be diluters. This one calls for 0w16. My friend just informed me Castrol 0w30 went in with a Fram Ultra.

I cannot.

I do get it to temp almost every drive. And I drive spiritedly

yea changing oil on GDI's you do smell some GAS in my experience. (not a fan of GDI overall personally).

These filters are good!
