I enjoyed all the practice, qualifying and racing over the 3 days at the Indy Grand Prix. The best action was at turn 1 in the first few laps of the races. At the end of the 200 mph straight away, they had to brake hard for a 90 degree turn and only 2 or 3 car turn width. Some spun out, some bumped, some had to decide to take the more "scenic" route. Some pile ups (one car actually parked on top of another). Nobody got hurt and was good racing. The F1 race was a bit of a bore after 10 laps. The onsite Speed Channel interviews were entertaining.
My 18 year old really enjoyed this and got to meet some Embry Riddle Aeronautical University students. He will be attending there this fall. We plan to attend next year IF the F1 Grand Prix decides to grace the US with their presence next year. He bought himself a nice Sony camera and took tons of stills and videos.
