European Fiat Ducato Diesel Oil in the USA

I got lost with the latest iterations of the Multi-Jet 3 engines. It seems that since 2023 they're all listed as 2.184l. (PSA dw12 ,right? )

Could it be the engine required FPW9.55535/DH1 ? I think the relevant spec with y.2025 is DH1 ( Selenia is certified against both ) :

..................
Both DS1 and DH1 are fine with AdBlue (urea) ,as these two owner's manuals show :

fiat 2019 :

Opel 2024:
https://public-servicebox.opel.com/...024_02/manual_user/OMOVACO2402en_7_online.pdf
.............

Also these two are DH1 officially certified (when you are back home) :

https://total-cdn-lmdb.afineo.io/tdsV2/TDS_TotalEnergies_Quartz-Ineo-Pro-0W-30_Z1Y_EN.pdf

Cannot find the specific lab requirements for DH1 and when exactly it was introduced but it is certainly more recent than DS1 .

P.S.

As for the filter, this M22 cap marking may just be a coincidence because all filter catalogs point to M20x1.5 thread for your application (unless they changed smth. very recently) :

https://www.mann-filter.com/it-it/c...odotto.html/w7063_mann-filter.html#dimensions

You could possibly find a close one by dimensions and by-pass setting in the Wix site ,but 1. you need to refresh the page on their ,losing the input (no fun at all) and 2. you may need to lose some filter capacity/dimesnions/performance .

https://www2.wixfilters.com/Lookup/PartDetails.aspx?Part=2018825

https://www2.wixfilters.com/Lookup/PartDetails.aspx?Part=1901532

...etc.

Anyway, try to measure carefully the threaded opening in the filter, if it were M20 it would measure appr. 18.5mm.
And appr. 20.4mm for if it were m22x.1.5mm.

adblue is squirted into the exhaust anyway, I don't see that influencing the oil.

The filter says M22 on it so I’m guessing that’s the thread type.

Diameter is ~76mm
Length is ~90mm

The green stuff looks like on overly liberal application of thread lock.

That’s a Purflux LS995. M20x1.5 thread.

The bypass valve isn’t threaded or held together with a nut. That’s just the stamped piece of steel covered with a dye/ink which is applied during a QC check.

Purflux filters are exceptional quality.
