Engine Mounts/Motor Mounts ?

Energy Suspension if you want it stiffer, which will increase NVH.
OEM may be expensive, but, in my limited experience, if you want the same absence of vibration that you had when your OE mounts were newer, you should cough up for the OEM pieces. Aftermarket items can look the same, but it must be difficult for them to reverse-engineer the NVH work of the OEMs---rubber elastomers, hydraulic details, etc., (at least as done by Anchor), left my high-mile '02 Camry vibrating annoyingly until I had the job re-done with Toyota mounts. I'm guessing that the mounts may matter more with modern transverse engine layouts, than they did with longitudinally placed engines of yesteryear. YMMV.
Thank you for your suggestion but I def. don't want any stiffer than Nissan oem feel.
There so many different mounts and they get replaced so infrequently, domestic aftermarket manufactures don't want to bother making them. Chinese is the only option and as said before, they are not easy to copy.
This. High quality? Low price? Pick any one.
No matter what you do, stay far away from Anchor mounts.. Garbage that lasts <10k if you're luck..

Grab up the OEM whenever you can.... I have had to put Anchor or Harmon only when there was no other choice
Coming from someone in the field, there's really only two choices: OEM or trash. Anchor, DEA, Harmon are all basically the same junk (and may be the same company). Even OEM mounts can be junk: I'm looking at you GM. Just look at the amount of 2007+ GMT900 trucks with failed LH engine mounts. When those roll into my shop, I don't even bother using the OE hydraulic mount, I upgrade them to the solid mount that was used on Hummer H3 with the V8.

Absolute truth! I think I see 4 or 5 a month and the others just don't know they're running around on bad mounts lol. I never considered using the Hummer mount. I usually throw on an Anchor or DEA which is junk but better than nothing lol
You're the type of tech that validates the stereotype. Don't you have any pride?
Actually we are top of the line shop that has a 6 week waiting list to get in. I should have mentioned that I always recommend the GM mounts but people are cheap and will always look to save some money regardless - I have not have any come backs!
Gotcha, that is a completely different situation you describe. I took the post as a brag, its obviously not at all..
I am surprised that you've had no trouble with anchor.. Every single time I've used them, they fail again in 3k miles.. Not a tear in the mount, but they just get soft and allow travel just as if a bad mount was present, sort of..
Thank you. I do agree 100 that Anchor is shady at best. I have had 1 mount bad right out of the box - built wrong and sloppy. I always explain to a customer that I recommend the OEM mount so you can get another 100k miles (or whatever the vehicle has) and I will warranty the part and labor. If they go aftermarket (Anchor, DEA etc) I will only cover the part warranty and not labor. I am surprised I have not had any comebacks but I have my suspicions that there are atleast a few wearing out prematurely. I will also add that most of these vehicles are older and guess they don't want to spend a lot and take the risk to save nearly $100.
