While at Napa today to find the weird filter to fit OEM Kia oil filters I seen Eneos 5w20 and 0w20. After searching I found lots of good info from Caterham about the 0w20. I am curious about this oil and wonder if there is a used oil analysis or VOA in the 5w20 flavor.
The owner's manual does not list 0w20 otherwise I would use it. I know either way its the same, but am playing it safe for warranty reasons.

IMO, the 0W-20's represent the best of what today's PCMO have to offer. If you're not comfortable with the 0W, that's fine.

Eneos is a fine oil. I bought a 5 gallon pail of 0W-20 from a Toyota dealer that charged me 4 USD/qt. And I get to keep the pail! But if you're going to stick with the 5W, I'd get PU or PP over the Eneos. There are alot of really good choices in the 5W-20 grade.

which eneos 0w20 they had several and I wouldnt trust napa to have the newest one. (that I havent seen except online for 13$/qt)

There is very little data here on any Eneos. The only thing that you would gain with the 0W-20 in AZ is that your car may warm up 15 seconds more quickly in the winter.

I remember reading high VI oils are better across the whole temperature range even in hot climates like mine. I don't know, but I remember my search showing a lot of caterham responses/posts that seemed to make sense to me.

That would be great! Two other members said they were going to do it and I haven't seen either post in months.
