Ol' Reginald put on a good show in Dallas last night. It's hard to watch the icons age. He's got a huge body of work, and deserves to go take it easy. Thanks for the memories Rocket Man.
I saw him with Joel in the early 2000'sI saw him waaaay back in Ames, IA with Billy Joel. I think it was early 1990's.
I've never had the fortune to see him live but I've been a big fan since the 70's when I was in grade school. My favorite songs are Rocket Man, Bennie and the Jets, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word, and Philadelphia Freedom and.......I could go on and on. What a treasure he and Bernie Taupin's catalogue is!Ol' Reginald put on a good show in Dallas last night. It's hard to watch the icons age. It's somewhat unique, Bernie writes the lyrics first then hands them over to Elton and he turns them into music.Bernie Taupin wrote most if not all of his songs.
