Edge 0W20

Well I called my local AAP the other day, they told me they made shelf space for Edge 0W20, and were going to pack it out. I went today to get it and they told me it shows in their system but they don't get it in the warehouse to ship out to the stores. He went on to tell me that Castrol is only shipping it to VW dealerships. I'll have to check Walmart. The search continues, LOL.

Has anyone actually seen Edge 0W20?

I was at Advance Auto today and they had 6 quarts of Castrol Edge 0W-20, it was going for $7.99 a quart, I sure hope this oil ends up at Wal-Mart in a 5 quart jug.

Anyone know what happens if they don't have the filter you need? Like if your car takes a cartridge filter and there is no Bosch Distance Plus fitler for it? Are you just out of luck, or will they substitute?

Buy the wrong filter and then do a no receipt exchange using that filter to get a filter of a different brand. If you want to be nice, get a Bosch or Purolator filter so that you keep it in the same company.

Buy the most expensive filter if you do it this way.

The PureOne cartridge filter for this thing (new Camry) is 13 bucks! The standard Purolator is $8. The Fram was $7 at Walmart, and it's $5 at my Toyota dealer. I'll be buying at the dealer I guess if it's going to be this much in the aftermarket. Thanks.

OEM filter at dealer for same price or less than after-market filter is the best choice.

Well a few buddies said they saw Edge 0W20 in MD one bought it. The shelf space for it (AAP) is in a NY store I shop at but no product. AAP said they can't get it yet. Castrol says it isn't available, yet people in MD already bought it. What is going on?

I already bought 10 quarts of Edge 0w20 and 2 Bosch DistancePlus 3323s, all for $64

I love my AAP store, it's by far the friendliest APP I've been to, the cleanest, and they do this kind of stuff for you

Do you know where in MD? I was planning on getting a new horn for my Miata at Pep Boys today, but I can run to AAP instead on my lunch break if it was nearby.

I bought it in the Bowie, MD store but if you do a product availability search on AAP's website, it'll show you who has it and who doesn't.

Germantown doesn't have it but both of the Gaithersburg stores have it as well as the Rockville store. Hope this helps

I was in Mount Airy MD. and they did not have it, but the salesman called the Frederick store and they had it.

Walmart does not have any Castrol Edge.

Edge 0W20
