My wife listed a garbage bag of my old scrap camo hunting closthes on ebay, clearly stateing that all items had many hols and were worn out.. somebody gave my wife $27.00 for that bag.. different strokes for different folks..

I think its a way to launder money. I have seen items that normally sell for ~$10 being bid on and sold at $70-80.00. Who in their right mind would do that when the item above is $9.00 and the one below is $10.00. Something is fishy...

Amazon, New Egg, RockAuto...I mean the list of better places to buy goes on and on. TigerDirect, etc.

eBay probably has a host of druggies posting up random listing, while doing drugs and who knows what else.

I've been looking for a cheap used laptop computer on ebay recently, and some of the descriptions of the junk people put up are pretty humorous. "Broken screen, no memory, no hard drive, bad motherboard. everything else works great!"

There's a cardboard can of Delo on there right now. Buy it now price of $150.

Who would be that whacked to buy something like this?

Geesh
I have an old Quaker State can from the late 1960's or early 1970's and it is full. It's always in my way. I'm thinking about eBaying it for more.

Maybe those of us who hoard oil are onto something! Perhaps if I keep a bunch of my current PYB, in 40 years I can sell it and fund my retirement.

Nostalgia has no price.

Just watch American Pickers, Frankie (the guy with the beard) collects these things and has paid $15-20 per can for them.

I won't deny the coolness factor of them, I was tempted to bid on the Pennzoil can for $10 that was really neat looking...you don't find anything around like that anymore.

$100 is a little high but not ridiculous when you think about the people who are collectors.
