Quite a few for a 24 hour period.

We are always along for the ride. The fault line above South America has been rather active lately. I can't understand why they build non earthquake proof concrete buildings there. Right on the fault line.

Concrete is a wonderful building material, impressive compression strength. But near zero tolerance for quakes.

Steel on the other hand is a better choice for areas that shake.

When we flew earthquake relief flights to Haiti, it was obvious the concrete buildings failed, the steel hangar type buildings did not.
