Early failure of Amazon Basics AA alkaline battery

All alkaline eventually will leak. I've switched to Lithium and no leak problems. Catch them on sale every now and again.

found the Ray-o-vac alkaline battery's work well or Harbor freight edge battery are fine also. amazon anything stuff no way.

I had some 9v Amazon batteries, of which about half of them were decent. Several I put into smoke-detectors were chirping within a month.
I'll never buy that brand of battery again. I'll pay for Duracells.

I just use Panasonic blue colored 9v batteries from a dollar store, never an issue and they last.

The ProCell (Duracell) are really good in smoke detectors.

Had a 20 pack of duracell AAA quantum. 15 leaked.....inside the device. Maybe knock offs ?????? They were NOT on sale either, nor expired.
