I have a friend who buys M1 extended performance oil for his car and a SuperTech ecore filter. I shake my head, but he won't listen to reason.

Yes, Bill. I'm a cynic, but the longer I'm around, the more I see that as being realistic.

How many times, especially lately, when you see the words "New and Improved!" the only thing improved is the word on the box.

Profit is a good thing.

I like my filter companies to stay in business and have the funds to design better products. (that is until the rules comes down making it impossible to better the product)

So far the E-cores that I've used have worked great in all situations that my vehicles see.

A little off topic...

You should see the paper work for haz-mat stuff and if you come upon it what has to be done. Some of it I agree with it but some of it is just someone who gets paid to create paperwork.
