Dyno-Tab- Anyone used this stuff?

I have seen a similar product with similar claims marketed in Canada under various names including "eco-tab" and "PERC".

The latter made me think they were using Perchloroethylene but I don't know enough about it to know if this is even likely. I would have thought it to be extremely volatile. I have heard of people using Perchloroethylene in the gas and I guess the solvency might help, although the treat rates seem really low.

I would be much more prepared to believe that things like this Dyno-Tab might have some use as a fuel system cleaner, than the fuel economy effects, which appear to be a mix of excessive (+10%) or anecdotal ( "i drove 485 km on tuesday and it took 34 litres of gas and then drove 485 km on Wednesday and it took 33 litres").

Lastly, the same company makes a PTFE engine treatment

which would tend to make me doubt any other products.
