I just changed my oil and removed the filter and no oil drained out of the Filter. Does that mean it was full of dirt and went into bypass ?

I'd more likely to believe that the bypass valve malfunctioned initially or at some time during usage. Can you molest the valve to make it drain the oil? Into a clear clean open pan like an milk jug cut in half? That way if it was clogged you would probably test the oil for grit or metal shavings, just to be thorough..
Post results!

If you held a couple inlet holes open and no oil subsequently drained out, likely compromised adbv at some point.

Depending on orientation, be odd to have no oil whatsoever drain from the filter upon removal. Cut it open and check out the internals.

Filter mounted holes up.
As discussed many times in this forum, a bad ADBV can still allow the oil to drain out of the oil filter because all the oil above the level of the oil pan wants to drain back to the oil pan due to gravity. It's been a misconception forever that a filter mounted vertical with the base up doesn't need an ADBV ... but your situation just proved that's not the case. A dry filter when it's removed as nothing to do with the filter bypass valvle.
