Dr Pepper Zero Sugar Blackberry

Again, is that sarcasm?

A nice old man was filling the soda fridge in a Clifton, NJ pizzeria.
I said the bottled water was the only acceptable thing in the cold box.
He said, "It's all poison except the water"....and it was his place!

Do not drink this garbage.
Well depends on how much you want to believe from news. I read an article that bottled waters contain like 90 something % forever plastics and chemicals 🤯. Who knows these days even the water is poison

I hear you Wireman1987.
My [our mutual] condemnation of sodas was stated as a preference for the plain water.
There's only so much space on a bumper sticker.

Be it known that we in Casa Kira do not buy bottled water for the exact reason you say...leached, or whatever, plastics.
Plus, minimizing plastic waste is our focus every waking hour.

Turning a blind eye to garbage generation is just plain wrong.

Aspartame 😔 😟
Thanks! No thanks! :cautious:
Almost as bad as @KCJeep oil and filter recommendations
Give me a green @KCJeep bottle & whack me over the head with it x10 times before you offer me a Dr Pepper 0. By then I'll assume I'm drinking the regular. :ROFLMAO:
Same here.
I don't think most of the artificial sweeteners are that good at all. I have tried Vitamin water with stevia and monk fruit sweetener. Those may be safer, but I'm not sure.
But I won't consume sucralose( splenda) or aspartame( NutraSweet) or definitely not erythritol!!
Although I've used them all I tend to stick with Stevia. The others have shown cognitive decline in tests. ha! Wait, maybe that's my problem. 😄

I had a Stevia a couple of weeks ago, it was good. I had never heard of it.

I tried it about 2 months ago, awful :(

Cherry is good though.

Fun fact, has anyone had OK cola? I and several friends in high school (mid 90s) worked at a mall and brought in random people to taste test it. It was basically orange coke. We would give the person a sample of 6 different flavors, and they had to sit through an awkward VHS video talking about the brand.
Oh wow does that take me back. Never had the chance to try it. I remember the bizarre commercials however. Do you remember surge and Josta cola? Josta was reddish due to the guarara in it.

As long as we are on Sodas:
I loved the various Diet Rite Drinks.
The White Grape went down so smooth... :)

Anyone seen any of those lately?

EDIT: NVM , just did a search, its been discontinued :(

it's a shame, the Diet Rite Cola, or "Blue Pop" as my dad called it, was his go to for Decades....
They replaced it with "RC Zero". which tastes fine to me, but Dad can't drink it, because it contains Caffeine, which Diet Rite did not.
He went back to Caffeine Free Diet Coke instead.

They are the exact same as other name brand sodas where I live.
Various flavors/brands of soda are $3.99-$4.99 a 12 pk every day all the time at the warehouse stores,
Dr Pepper is consistently around $8+ a 12pk and rarely is on sale and generally not available at the warehouse stores. If it is it’s only the regular Dr Pepper flavor and costs more than other varieties.

Oddly A&W root beer is usually cheaper than the exotic Dr Pepper flavors even though they are bottled by the same place.

Can't do aspartame. It gives me a splitting headache and makes me feel awful all over. When it was first introduced I had a doctor tell me it was essentially poison and to stay away from it.

If you drink these mainstream sodas you are effectively picking your poison. The ones with high fructose corn syrup poison your liver and the ones that are marketed as zero sugar, the contents of which poison your digestive tract by killing all off all of the helpful bacteria contained therein.

Same strategy with rat poison, rats love it because it tastes great!

I’ve had the Dr. Pepper Blackberry zero and it’s pretty good. My wife really loves the strawberries and cream Dr. Pepper Zero. Since I drink mostly caffeine-free, it’s Diet Coke caffeine free for the bulk of my soda consumption.

Drinking one right now. It is quite good. Last year they had DP Zero Coconut Cream. It was like crack. But, apparently it is seasonal or very limited in its distribution.

As a teen I was addicted to two sodas. Neither one very good for us at all. Especially with the full on load of sugar that they eventually switched out from good real sugar to that garbage high fructose corn sweetener that human body has a hard time processing. My two drugs were Mountain Dew and The Doctor! I avoid both these days as much as I can. :sneaky:
