Dr. Colorchip-anyone use?

It is a touch up system to repair paint chips, particularly those on the front end rock/bug chips. Wipe or brush on their correct color "paint" and then wipe off with their "blending" product. Paint remains in chips. Saw it promoted in Bimmer magazine, Seems unworkable to me.

Anyone? I posted this same question on a another forum and recieved very mixed answers. My car is dark metalic green so I wonder if color affects quality of repair. TIA

I've seen that with wax sticks but not with paint.

HI Russ,

I would ask on the bimmerfest.com forum for detailing. I too have not used it, just seen the ads in Bimmer and Roundel. I remember someone saying they had tried "all the stone-chip repair kits" and not being happy with any of them. Someone on bimmerfest will have tried it and comment. Also try bimmerforums.com.

I am not happy with the OEM paint stick. I use a detailer now...
