I went to Wally to get tires replaced because my old Michelins dry-rotted after 6 years. They are still running fine and get me good gas mileage. However, I drive mostly highway and don't feel comfortable with old tires at high speed. Tread is down to minimum so it was time to change.
The tires installed were stated to be made by Goodyear so I told them to use them. I want Michelins but BJ and other tire place no longer carry tires for 92 Corolla. Only Wally and they put in Douglas, which I never heard of. My question is if there is anything I should be mindful of when riding on Douglas. I am [censored] that the warranty is only for 40k miles because the extra cost of hazard and rotation are the same as those tires with 80k miles. Anyway, I will get new wheels and tires in 40k miles and never buy tires from Wally again. I just need to know if these are good.
