I just bought some "buy one get one free" Gumout fuel injection cleaner from Advance auto zone. It saids it treats up to 21 gallons. In the intructions it saids pour entire contants in the fuel tank. Wouldn't that be too concentrated for a 13.9 gallon tank?

Not really! They've got it all figured out that the smallest fuel tank in a car is around 10 gal's, maybe less, but no more than 21 gal's. If you have a large car/truck/minivan with a (let's say)26 - 36 gal + fuel tank, add 2 bottles at once. On a smaller tank you just get a little stronger concentration as compared to a 21 gal tank. Also on a 20-21 gal tank, you might want to add a second bottle on another tank full of fuel. I think that the directions should read i.e. "Use between 16 & 21 gallons of fuel".
Then leave it to the car owner to add more or less Gumout depending on the size of their fuel tank. Just MHO!

Why worry? The directions say "up to" which includes any tank size under 21.

BTW, which product(bottle color)?

i saw the buy one, get one sale at advance, but it seems like that version of gumout isn't any better than the cheap-o stp they sell.

Just be careful not to add the whole thing to a motorycle tank. DIdn't work to well with MMO.

doesn't really matter with gumout. mmo is much different than fuel injector cleaner.
