In the process of replacing the PS pump on my Accord, I damaged the pulley. I was a bit forceful when trying to remove it from the old pump and seemed to have bent it as it wobbles a lot now when spinning on the car. How are Dorman pulleys? Since a pulley is a simple piece of equipment I'd assume an aftermarket one would work just fine...

I broke a power steering pulley on a 1991 Chevy Lumina I had several years ago and replaced it with a Dorman power steering pump pulley and it fit right and worked fine with no problems.

Dorman stuff is either pure garbage or decently made there doesn't seem to be any mid level, their hubs (two piece separate bearing only) and pulleys appear to be well done.

^^This. I've seen some Dorman control arms installed that would not not allow the car to have proper caster specs after alignment. I've also seen a Dorman serpentine belt tensioner that was a rebadged Ford part, complete with the Ford part number.

I've had success with dorman pulleys on my past fords. I've had two same parts, different makes. One was solid steel, the other steel hub and plastic. Both worked fine, just don't ask why I replaced the first one (HamHands).

Take it out of the box, inspect it. Check the belt surface for any burrs that would cause abnormal wear. Check the shaft mating surface for burrs. If you don't like it, check another.

And I agree, with Dorman its either great or garbage, no in between.
