Does Sodium Interact with Moly? Mobil 7500

Mobil 7500 has no Moly. It has a ton of Sodium. Are those two adds harmfull to each other? Ie. dont use VSOT with M7500?
It seems strange since most other Mobil oils have moly.

Don't know where you got that one. All the used oil analysis that I've seen had Moly over 100 ppm

I do not believe there's anything in passenger vehicle oils that's harmful with VSOT. A call to Valvoline should confirm that.

You know, since I posted this I noticed other VOA's of M7500 that showed Moly. I also found used oil analysis with M7500 that showed quite a bit of Moly. I do not know why the two that I posted showed no Moly. They are both in the VOA section. Maybe it is and SM/SL thing. Unfortunately, the oil analysis do not state whether they are SL or SM.
