When they first introduced Edge (back when Syntec and Edge were still separate brands), they promoted a 15K oci for Edge. Clearly they were targeting the Mobil 1 Extended Performance market segment. Since they've introduced Edge with Syntec and Edge with Titanium, they don't seem to be promoting the 15K oci for the titanium version. Any thoughts?
Does Castrol still claim a 15K oci for Edge?

Well it said back then that you could go up to 15k, but if I recall it said "or the maximum oil change interval recommended in your owners manual" as a disclaimer.

Of course if you do use it longer than the OEM oil change schedule you can lose your warranty.
Also in some sludge prone engines its a bad idea. Id never use it in the 2.7 Chrysler or the 3.0 Yota sludge motors.

You do realize that I asked the original question? So if I brought XOM in on the OP, I brought it in on myself.
I brought XOM in because at the time Edge was introduced, my impression was that Edge and Mobil 1 Extended Performance were making the same 15K claim. Robenstein's post suggests that the 15K claims were different. You also might note my assertion in the op that the Edge claim was a competitive response to Mobil 1 Extended Performance. Whether they contiune to make a claim comparable to XOM was really sort of the point of the op.
