Maybe a silly question, but here goes...
There are specific products that are 'fuel stabilizers', like Stabil. For the most part, AFAIK, they are mainly very light oils, like 2-cycle oils would be.
Question: does any 'light oil product', like MMO, 2-cycle, ATF, Seafoam, when added to the gas, have a stabilizing effect?
Reason: parking my truck for 3-4 months. Instead of buying a bottle of fuel stabilizer, I'm thinking of dumping some cheap ATF I have in the gas to lube the fuel system. Will it work?
