Do you use a desktop computer?

Sure do, build by me gaming PC. Haven’t had a prebuilt since 2008. Water cooled i7 10700k, MSI RTX 3080 Ti, 32 gigs RAM, the usual. 4K 60+ FPS, yes please.

i built my own too. i built mine last year, i went with the i9 9900KF - liquid cooled, & the rtx 2080 super. paired that with 64gb ram & couple nvme drives. im thinking about upgrading to your 3080 TI. i bet its a beast! im not much of a gamer but i do love me some oculus VR.

At least GPU prices are starting to finally come down (and be available), but still to pricy for me.

I upgraded my 10+ year old Phenom II quad core about 2 years ago.
I went with a Ryzen 5 2600x, 32 gigs RAM, 2 m.2 drives (500 gb NVME boot, 1 TB SATA storage, because that is what my board had available, both WD blue), paired with a 1060 6 gig card with the plan to upgrade that in a few months.
Well here we are still and no new card yet.
I really don't game, and have been using it mostly for video transcoding for uploading to youtube, and the setup does pretty well for my needs, do just really have not been looking hard.
If I can find a card for $200 or so that has much better performance than the 1060, I may go for it, but as of right now, still a long ways off.
