I don't get it when people bid. There was the ' runaway bride' scratched in toast - somebody bid ~$16000. I think he's being sued. He said he was 'just going along with the joke'. But ebay has terms that can be enforced. On the other hand, what is to stop the seller from having some buddies bogusly put in a bid or two?

That's just stupid. Shut 'em down ebay. Yeah joking or not, bidding on something like this is even more stupid than the original sale.....
