Swarfega Duck Oil plastic & rubber compatability

This product was recommended to me for keeping corrosion at bay by spraying on areas of the car where you don't want muck to accumulate with it being a very light oil. So around the engine bay for example which you may need to work on at some point rather than underneath the car.

It states it's suitable for electrical connections so does anyone know if that means it's safe to use on plastics & rubbers?
 
any oil will accumulate "muck". ANY.

Seems very expensive.. just go with something conventional, Fluidfilm/woolwax, krown, rustcheck, noxudol
The pb blaster surface shield that Harbor freight sells.
etc.
 
Should have mentioned I'm based in the UK and it's pretty comparable on price here I think
