I’ve always wondered though. I personally don’t give blood and never had any type of bloodwork done I can’t remember what blood my parents have i think one is B and can’t remember what the other is. I probably have one of their types. Just the thought of it makes me faint though lol .

I worked with a guy who used to work offshore out of Aberdeen. He had a cool work shirt that had his blood type embroidered on the pocket.

Thank you, I didn't know that! I learned something today thanks to you. I was under the impression that since it was somewhat rare (4%) that only AB+ could be used if needed......how incredibly wrong I was.
O-neg here as well. We can give to anyone, but we can only take o-neg.
IIRC only 7% of the population is o-negative.
I am A+ so ideal for platelets which I donate once a month

I’m surprised this many people know their blood type lol. I have absolutely no idea what mine is guess I’ll never know lol.
