Just wondering if anyone buys oil and other automotive stuff for their ride from Amazon. They sell the full line of Eneos in singles and cases of 6. I'm tempted to give it at go since shipping is free and no tax. I also found redline in singles and cases with free s/h. The oil filters on Amazon also look somewhat attractive.

Thoughts?

I purchased some filters about a month ago. Very competative pricing and secure and reliable service from my esperience.

I'm most interested in the Eneos stuff. It looks as if Amazon just started to sell the full range of Eneos. Gear Oil, ATF etc

I bought several Pure One filters a while back, I took advantage of the Free Super Saver Shipping, you can't go wrong. I also bought a case of Red Line fuel system cleaner, with the free shipping, the price was the best I've seen.

Yes, when the wife wants to buy something and needs more stuff to make it up to $25 for free shipping I order some stuff.

I buy pureone oil filters, the pricing is cheaper than local stores and free shipping and no sales tax. with oil it's generally cheaper to buy at walmart but sometimes if you'll stumble on some synthetics real cheap and load up then. however, the sometimes put a quantity limit like 3 quart bottles because I put in 50 and was capped at 3

I order PureOne's and Wix Air and Cabin air filters from there. Great pricing and delivered to my door for free. Can't beat it.

Has anyone looked at the Eneos line of lubricants on Amazon? The prices seem good. I'm about to pull the trigger on 2 cases at $41-$53. I just need to figure out which weight. The 5w-30 isn't group IV it's a III. However the 5w-40w is group IV based on what ive read on other forums.

I used Rotella 5w-40 once and my gas mileage tanked.

I plan to get 2 cases which is a total of 12 quarts, which is roughly enough for 3 oil changes. I want to UOA this stuff to see if it's actually top notch.

The 0w-50 grade looks superb based on forums and youtube videos. I think 0w-50 is a bit overkill for a naturally aspirated Subaru. It's also $70 per 6 quart case.

I never saw anything special about that stuff .

Why do you want it if you don't mind educating me .

Because it's JDM yo lol. I want to try it because the price points are not that far off from PU and Edge.

After reading this thread, I went to Amazon and purchased 8 Pureone's for various vehicles. I can only get these locally at Pepboys for about $6/each, on Amazon they were under $5/each. Good deal!

Made in Japan oil but not special.I would use GC 0W-30 if it fits your Subaru's oil requirement.

Oil is very expensive at amazon.com compared to local auto parts store prices. 46 dollars for 6 qt M1 is too expensive.

I never have but if they had what I needed and the price was right I would not hesitate.

I buy PureOne's from there when I'm making a purchase and I know an oil change is near. I love it when the Purolator filter rebate is in effect cause then you get PureOne's for something like $2.75 or a little under if I remember correctly. I like purchasing local from locally owned shops when I can, but that's a tough price to pass up
