Filled up the truck today with diesel.
Went to Woolworths to get groceries, and came out to find a great big white door swipe across my blue paint...wasn't there when I fueled up, but must have been the obese woman with the trolley and the mobile who was loading up the white car next to me as we parked.
Walked down the street for lunch, and witnessed an old fogey in a camry (with tow bar) apparently nudge park between a brand new Black Mazda 3 and an older ute. Hopped out of the car, checked the Mazda, rubbed at the front, and walked into the Chinese Restaurant which we were standing in front of.
Had a look, and the tow bar had speared the Mazda quite hard...was about to write a note to the Mazda owner, when a kid came down to load some stuff into the Mazda. Better half recognised him as one of her friend's sons, and he ran into a shop to grab his Mum...her new Mazda, a couple of days old.
She called the Police, who interviewed the geezer in the restaurant...he tried every excuse, knew the car and it was already damaged, she hit him, the black paint on his towbar was from work he was doing at home etc.
Police finally offered him witness testimony, and that if he didn't give details, he'd be arrested.
What is it with people and other people's stuff ?
