can I mix liquid carnauba wax with detailing spray to make a spray wax? basically diluting the carnauba wax with the detailing spray

Seems to me that they wouldn't mix. Spray detailer being mostly water and the wax being wax and a petroleum-based carrier. At least the last Carnauba I used was...that was years ago though.

1) Go over with detailing spray.
2) Go over with liquid carnauba wax.
No need to mix, won't get any benefits, only potential issues with clogging sprayers, or anything weird on paint from chemistry clash between the two.

...or come to the dark side and use OG NuFinish...

maybe synthetic wax and spray detailer would mix?

You seem to want to do it so try it. I would mix a little of each together in a container and see if they do mix. Try a test spot on your car.

Frankly, it will likely turn out to be a big mess.

worth a try. I have several bottles of spray detailer and couple bottles of synthetic wax but no spray wax. might as well try and make my own before purchasing. just looking for a quick touch up after car wash

Personal preference. Not even worth a try at all… Since you are asking for views. Is it cost or ease of application?

+1 For NuFinish

But he already has the things he is talking about.

Gnu Finish does have spray products now but that will cost him.

Energizer is expanding the product line to be on par with the competitors. It’s likely the same as their other stuff as the other brands they sell.

Its just a fun project / experiment. I can easily purchase spray wax but since I have a bunch of detailing spray and extra liquid car wax thought I would mix them and see what happens. just wondering if anyone has done the same. I'm assuming spray wax is just diluted liquid wax / sealant so why not dilute w/ detailing spray
