Having my boat detailed by the marina. They will wash it and then apply a boat wax.

Can I apply PowerLock Plus or Ultra over it? I love Power Lock products.

Or something else? Looking to extend the protection of the boat wax. Maybe a second coat of boat wax?

I tried to get my local detailer I use for my vehicles to detail my boat. But he seems to have gone MIA?

Too much hassle to tell the marina what products to use.

Just wait 2 months and wash and wax again. A coastal boat and being scrubbed down as most are, wax isn’t going to last long. The easiest to remove is the best. You’re likely to stay on it frequently if you can knock it out quickly and not kill your arms… my opinion.

It's on inside rack storage. So no sun and not in water unless I am using it.

I use vinegar and water to remove the water spots and then apply a quick detailer on mine. It's worked great for years. The outboard engines still look like new. I will use my DeWalt cordless power buffer every couple years to remove any buildup or spots on the engines and it only take about 5 minutes.

Using a wax to top a previously applied sealant is fine.

Think: Power Lock Plus followed by Collinite 845 a minimum of three hours later.

Trying to apply a sealant on top of a wax is a no-go!

Use Collinite 845 over the recently applied wax. You’ll be fine.
