Looking for suggestions to use for ceramic sprays that are easier to apply and remove in 45F to 55F temps ? I currently use Turtle Wax Seal & Shine and it gets streaky to apply in cold weather .

Hmmm, that’s the one that I was going to suggest.
I use less of the Seal & Shine by spraying it on a damp microfiber towel and applying it to the paint
while the paint still has water droplets on it. Often I use the Seal & Shine as a “Wax While Drying” product.
It works well for me this way, holds up nicely, has a great shine and seem to make the paint really “POP” more the next day even though TW says there in no curing time. When they say not to over use the product, they’re not kidding. I probably use Seal & Shine more often than needed after washing but use little(few sprays) when I do.

If you’re getting streaking(also called high spotting), where you have to keep rubbing/polishing with a clean microfiber towel in order to remove the streaks, you may either be applying too much or you already have enough layers of product(any product) on the paint.

Or maybe you have a darker color paint. And they’re always less forgiving in situations like this.
Believe me, I know! And sometimes I can’t help myself. After washing my vehicles, I always feel inclined to apply some product on the paint because I love the boost in shine and slickness.

I went with Griotts 3:1 spray lightly spraying on a microfiber applicator using a thin coat and even coverage plus two towels . In 45 F. degree temps it worked fine !

Using two dry towels is my method to keep from getting streaks with ceramic coating or sprays .

Make sure you have a good light source and check from many angles .

Woking in smaller areas is also helpful .

I find seal and shine very difficult to use on my black car. I saw a YouTube video that said spray it on and wipe dry leaving the whole vehicle streaky. Then wipe a panel with a lightly damp towel (water) then dry with another towel. This gives good results in warmer weather. When it’s cold, I use turtle wax ice, as it’s much easier to use.
