I've watched many of his videos. Dave is a meticulous, competent DIY guy. His methodology with the oil experiments and piston soaks is ne plus ultra. Looks like all that Corolla really needed was a ring seal. While his commentary is a bit on the dry side, his travelogs of the SC low country are enjoyable. An Arc mock up and two Corvairs on the road, wow.

I was surprised to see the engine oil so clear and light at 5k miles.
