While idling at Kragen today, I asked the parts guy to show me a set of front Raybestos Advanced Technology Super Premium Ceramic pads (more commonly referred to as "QuietStops") for my SL2. I was quite surprised to discover the inclusion of a set of anti-rattle clips.
Now, when I removed my front pads last month to grease the shims, I do not recall seeing any anti-rattle clips on there. Neither did I see any anti-rattle clips on the rear pads, which don't fit terribly tight btw.
Questions:
Will I wear out the pad abutment points on my caliper mounting bracket due to vibration caused by the lack of anti-rattle clips?
Do all Raybestos QuietStop pads include anti-rattle clips?
Thanks.
