These jumper cables caught my eye, but not for a good reason.
These cables claim on can jump a vehicle through a 7-pin trailer plug. I suspect one of two things may happen from this:
(1) a vehicle fuse blows as wiring can't handle the amps typically required from a jump start, now you have two vehicles with issues
(2) wiring harness that feeds into the trailer plug melts. This is even a bigger issue, as many of these harnesses contain things like tail light wiring, fuel pump ground, blind spot sensor feeds, etc.
Nonetheless, maybe I am wrong about this jumper cable- but I don't think so.
