Nice filter... what's it cost? and is the interval 15k/yearly?

Is this the dual filter with the coarse🤣 5-micron outer layer with 3-micron inner? Stratapore nanonet synthetic???

Diesel fuel gets a really filter. Gassers rely on the gas station's pump filter. Makes you wonder!!!!

yes. Fleetguard FS 53000 is OEM 5 micron outer, 3 micron inner. Maybe got a load of crappy fuel somewhere along there in the 15000 miles its been in the truck. Previous times has never looked that dark.. usually pay around 50 bucks for these filters on Amazon

IMO it doesn't look that bad for 15k miles. I have seen worse on my truck but it depends on your fuel. I have the Throttle Up" kit on my truck to keep my under hood filter from looking terrible. I also use nothing but Mopar or Fleetguard on my Cummins Ram.

Just my $0.02

I always use the Fleetguard fuel filter on the engine but the water separator varies in brand due to pricing , same for the engine oil filter.. whatever is cheapest usually. But I swear by that FS 53000 Fleetguard for fuel filtration..

That’s pretty dirty for the under hood one at 15k miles. I change these all the time and that mileage visually it’s dirty

Is your chassis the 13-18 can or the 19 and up element. How did that one look ?

They all came out similar on my 2017. Never any junk to speak of, just discoloration. I've moved on to a 2:1 change. The inner goes for every second rear filter, which does a bulk of the work anyway.
