I recently heard that if you want to use the song "Thunderstruck" in any airplay, it is priced the highest of any song.AC/DC has never had a number one hit, but I think there second all time in album sales to the Beatles.

They were both. Myself and a few college roomies saw them back in their heyday. Heavy face makeup, dozens of bras being thrown up on the stage and our ears were ringing for quite some time. The most memorable part of the concert was them having the guitars shoot fireworks up in the air out of the guitar necks....just like roman candle fireworks.Lesson learned, I thought Kiss was a highly successful act, not a actual band.

Simmons has always been the walking definition of 'ick'.Years ago Oprah asked Gene Simmons how long his tongue was, his reply….long enough to make you one of my closest friends!
Because it probably wasn't them playing.Saw them in concert last year, holy mother of God they sounded great!
Gene probably hates that song because Paul wrote it.Came across an article.saying Kiss lead singer regrets Kiss's biggest hit. The headline caught my eye I didn't think Kiss had any hits. I thought Kiss was more of a act, a show, not a musical band.
Is Kiss a act or a musical band?

Hilarious! Simmons cracks me up, He also became $$filthy rich$$ IMHO by pretending to be a rock & roll star while in reality he seems to be a financial expert or at least knows how to find very good financial advice. On their ‘dressed to kill’ album they repeat “I want to rock and roll all night and party everyday” 11 times! I’ve hated that song for 50 years! Years ago Oprah asked Gene Simmons how long his tongue was, his reply….long enough to make you one of my closest friends!
It wasn't that long ago that Metallica's "Master of Puppets", thanks to it being used on Stranger Things, entered the Billboard Hot 100 at 40 (and hit 35), decades after it was released. "Until it Sleeps" hit #10 back in 1996, while "Enter Sandman" only got to #16 surprisingly. They have 17 songs on the Hot 100.The third single from the band's Billion Dollar Babies album was also its third highest-charting effort, reaching number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 behind only "School's Out" (number seven) and "I'm Eighteen" (number 21). It also helped power the album to the top of the Billboard 200 chart for the first and only time in Cooper's career.
Great memories You have I bet. So nice to be able to think back to those times.Kiss is very much a real band that actually plays their instruments and sings their songs- and they do it very well.
(I get that poeple may not like the music but they are actually musicians)
The costume show and pyrotechnics help amp it up and are all simply part of the presentation.
I was 9 when I rode my bicycle to the football stadium in Pekin Ill and saw my first live concert with my buddies.
It was Ted Nugent, REO Speed Wagon, and Kiss - I was absolutely blown away by the energy and excitement of this night as a young boy.
Watched the movie and had the Woodstock audio tapes for years and did not have a clue Creedence played there but perfectionist John Fogarty would not allow their parts to be used. The money they lost in royalties for that silly mistake! Ugh. Fogarty says today he was not thrilled with their performance! LOVED Creedence in my teen years and got to see them LIVE as well.Quick factoid: Creedence Clearwater Revival never had a number one hit but holds the distinction of having the most singles (nine) reach the top ten without ever reaching number one, and the band with the most singles (five) to reach number two on Billboard.

LoL, I always tell folks.... "I want MY MONEY! The kiddie movie The Sandlot could be a direct copy of my buddies and our lives from about 11 years old till about 16 yrs old."
Man oh man did we have fun and not a care in the world. Well except for how we lusted for muscle cars and a girl to sit in the passenger seats once we got brave enough to ask them out. Soon as we did that, it kind of aimed that lust in an entire different direction.![]()
In that same Oprah interview, Gene Simmons said he had never drank alcohol or done drugs! In the interviews I’ve seen of him, he’s a well spoken, down to earth, intelligent individual.Hilarious! Indeed, he is. Never a fan of the band myself but I've watched several of his interviews with interest. He's a great interview. He's arrogant though.
I wasn’t a fan but they had many hits. Even more so, they were a huge marketing success that put their name on everything. To this day, you can even buy a Kiss coffin to be buried in. Easy to find on the internet.Came across an article.saying Kiss lead singer regrets Kiss's biggest hit. The headline caught my eye I didn't think Kiss had any hits.
