This is the 4 cyl 1.5L, the one known for head sealing problems, has a TSB out on it. Not the new 3 cyl 1.5L.
I got to thinking about it and I’m wondering if I have a ticking time bomb. If I wanted to be doing a head gasket every 20k I would have bought a Subaru.
I’ll likely trade up to a new Explorer before this car is out of warranty but I’m curious nonetheless.
